    What is the Behest Design Partner Program?

    The Behest Design Partner Program is a limited cohort. Design partners deploy Behest, the control plane for enterprise AI, with founder-led deployment and direct input into the roadmap, in exchange for a real production workload and direct feedback.

    Founder-led deployment

    We deploy Behest into your production AI environment, with the founding team directly involved throughout. A high-touch enterprise rollout, not a login and a docs link.

    Built around your environment

    We configure and evolve Behest around how your AI actually runs: your stack, your models, and your controls. What we learn from your deployment directly shapes the product.

    Direct access to the founding team

    A shared Slack channel with the founding team, not a support queue. Ask questions and get answers from the people building the product.

    How the program works

    We're looking for companies with a real AI workload, an internal owner, and the willingness to work with us directly as we deploy Behest into production.

    • Who it's for

      CTOs and VP Engineering weighing build-vs-buy on AI control and governance; platform and AI infrastructure teams who need per-team, per-project cost tracking and budgets on every model call; CISOs and security teams who need PII scrubbing, prompt-injection defense, and audit trails on AI traffic; and FinOps and finance leaders who want AI spend visible and enforceable before the provider invoice arrives.

    • A real production workload

      Actual AI traffic and spend where visibility, budgets, governance, or routing matter. Best suited to teams already running AI in production or preparing a production deployment.

    • A named internal owner

      Someone who can work directly with our team and help move the deployment forward.

    • Direct feedback

      A biweekly working session where we learn what's working, what's missing, and what needs to change.

    • A deliberately limited cohort

      On purpose. Deploying Behest around real production environments and working directly with each team doesn't scale to dozens of companies. A small cohort lets our founding team stay directly involved in every deployment. Once the cohort is full, the program closes.

    Frequently asked questions

    Only if you opt in. Co-marketing (logo, quote, case study) is mutual and never happens without your explicit sign-off. Going in, design partners agree in principle to be a reference if Behest delivers, but you control if and when your name is ever used publicly.

    No. Behest runs as SaaS in Behest's cloud on every tier, and self-hosting in your own infrastructure is an option on the Enterprise tier, not a requirement. If you choose the self-hosted option, prompts, completions, and provider keys stay inside your own environment. Design partners can start on SaaS; self-hosting is available if you need it.

    Lighter than a build. We run the integration for you (founder-led deployment), so the heavy lifting is on us. From you: your production AI running today for us to connect, a biweekly feedback session, and availability in a shared Slack channel with the founding team. Most of the work is us building around what you tell us.

    It starts as soon as we agree you're a fit. Reach out, we reply either way, and if there's a match we scope your setup right away. Spots go to teams with a real AI workload and a clear owner of the AI bill, roughly in the order strong applications come in. When the cohort is full, the program closes.

    Behest is the control plane for enterprise AI. For spend specifically, its AI Token FinOps capability tracks, allocates, and controls AI Token budget at the unit level, so cost is visible and enforceable before the provider invoice arrives. It also includes AI Governance (PII scrubbing, prompt-injection defense, model access rules, audit trails) and can route requests to cheaper models where the use case allows.
